Overview: We're seeking a strategic, insight-driven professional to lead the development, delivery, and implementation of customer insights that inform critical business decisions. This high-impact role will serve as a key business partner to cross-functional teams and play a central role in fostering a culture of evidence-based, customer-focused thinking. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of the insight roadmap for a defined business area, aligning analytics and research with strategic goals. Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable research and analytics programmes. Coordinate cross-team insight activities to ensure alignment, efficiency, and measurable outcomes. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and visualisations that support decision-making and performance tracking. Champion segmentation initiatives and enhance understanding of key customer metrics such as value for money. Own "the last mile" of insight: deliver knowledge in compelling formats that drive stakeholder action. Create a multi-channel communication strategy to ensure insights reach the right people at the right time. Represent the insight function in senior leadership teams and deputise for the Head of Customer Insight & Analytics when needed. Stay ahead of industry trends and bring innovative insight and analytics practices into the organisation. Collaborate with external research agencies to ensure best-in-class outputs. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience leading customer insight and analytics initiatives that inform high-level business decisions. Strong analytical background, ideally with a degree in a relevant field (e.g. statistics, operational research, management science). Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to translate complex data into actionable insight. Adept at working with multiple data sources and analytical tools. Skilled at stakeholder engagement across senior and cross-functional teams. Experience with segmentation, customer journey mapping, CRM, and customer value analysis. Familiarity with AI/GenAI applications in research and analytics is a plus. Comfortable managing projects end-to-end, including agency management and impact measurement.
