Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Account Manager for our client based in Scotland.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join a successful and expanding team, covering the Scotland business region. The role offers strong career progression and the chance to make a real impact in a growing organisation.

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong client relationships, ensuring contract retention, and identifying opportunities to up-sell additional services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage customer relationships, delivering high-quality service and meeting annual sales targets.
  • Negotiate and secure new contracts, as well as up-sell additional services at target profit margins.
  • Assist in the mobilisation of new contracts and ensure smooth handovers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Produce accurate cost estimates, quotations, and supporting sales documentation.
  • Manage outstanding debt and ensure timely payments from clients.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and active sales pipeline to support growth targets.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar Account Manager or Technical Sales role.
  • Ideally, experience within building services, construction, or FM sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Competent in using MS Office applications.
  • Flexible and willing to travel throughout the UK, with overnight stays when required.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.

Offering:

  • Salary up to 40k per annum.
  • Commission scheme paying additional 10-15k per annum
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
