Headquartered in Edinburgh but with clients spread across the UK, ZedTalent s client is a fast growing and highly ambitious revenue generating SME business. They have developed leading PPE equipment for workers in industries like construction, heavy manufacturing, rail, transport and local authorities. They are looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join the team on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, you will provide first-line sales support for customers and the Sales team. This role involves managing our order processing system, creating bespoke proposals, assisting with customer onboarding, and maintaining our CRM database. You will communicate with customers and internal departments via phone, email, and online to ensure a seamless process and excellent levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires you to meet targets and deadlines and carry out ad-hoc administration projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately input and process customer orders
  • Create and send quotations on behalf of the Sales Team
  • Assist in managing new customer onboarding
  • Assist in managing subscriptions to our client s Analytics Software
  • Maintain the CRM database (Salesforce), ensuring all data is logged accurately, including contact details and follow-up dates
  • Produce monthly reports using Workhorse and Salesforce systems
  • Liaise with other departments on administrative matters of mutual importance
  • Perform general administrative duties and any additional ad-hoc tasks as required

Key skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a sales support admin role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as customer service skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems and databases such as Outlook, CRM, Teams/Zoom
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and receptive to new ideas

You should be personable with strong communication skills. You must be professional, articulate and have a confident telephone voice and manner. You will need to be organised and prioritise tasks accordingly. Whilst company training will be given, previous experience working in a busy Administration role is essential.
