The Role
Visiting debtor s properties to arrange payment of outstanding debts
Setting up and agreeing repayment arrangements
Assisting debtors in completing questionnaires
Taking control of goods where required
Removing goods - where necessary
Making enquiries with neighbours if debtors have moved or left a property
Compiling short reports about your visit, along with any necessary paperwork
Assessing debtor vulnerability and signposting them to support services if required
Liaising with office-based colleagues regarding active cases
Working by yourself, often in different geographical areas each day
Handling cash payments where required
You will need to undergo an enhanced DBS check and you mustn't have any CCJ's or IVA's against your name. This role comes with a company vehicle so you will need to have held your driving licence for at least 2 years and be able to drive a manual and automatic vehicle.
