Working Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 8:30AM - 4:00PM

Role Overview:

Millers Oils is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager based in the Midlands to join our Industrial Sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and managing key customer relationships within the Midlands region. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key part in the ongoing success of a well-established and innovative company.

Your role at a glance:

• Sales & Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and partners through regular contact and face to face visits
• Growth: Drive profitable, sustainable sales growth in the Industrial market within your designated geographical area
• Identify New Business Opportunities: Expand the customer base through proactive lead generation and networking
• Consultative Selling: Use your product and application knowledge to recommend solutions, conduct site surveys, and demonstrate cost-saving benefits to customers
• Industry Knowledge & Market Awareness: Stay informed about competitor products, market trends, and industry developments
• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the wider sales team, customer service, technical, and product management teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular reports to senior management on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments
• Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent Millers Oils and enhance business relationships

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the industrial sector
• Strong knowledge in metalworking, plastic injection moulding and fluid management is highly desirable
• Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands region
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
