The Role

As a Senior Field Technical Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Build and manage relationships with both suppliers and customers.
  • Provide pre-sales technical guidance and secure design-in opportunities.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from initial design to production and end-of-life.
  • Collaborate on exciting projects involving power electronics for satellites and other cutting-edge space applications.
  • Travel within the UK and Northern Europe to strengthen Firefly s presence and partnerships.

This hybrid role requires regular in-office collaboration in Winchester and flexibility for client and supplier visits.

What We re Looking For

  • Essential Skills and Experience
    • Minimum 5 years in customer-facing technical sales, engineering, or marketing within power electronics or semiconductors.
    • Strong understanding of GaN, MOSFETs, or related power electronic technologies.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
    • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel unrestricted within Europe.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Desirable Skills
    • Background in space, military, defence, avionics or adjacent HiRel industries.
    • Experience selling to Northern European markets.
    • A degree in engineering or a related field.
