In this newly created role, our prestigious client is looking for a highly motivated and driven B2B Business Development Manager to join their business. Responsible for identifying, targeting, and building strong relationships with businesses in need of co-packing services, you'll play a pivotal role in driving winning new business and contributing to sales growth.

This role requires a motivated self-starter with a proven track record in B2B sales within the food or FMCG sector, preferably with experience in selling co-packing services.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and target new business opportunities within the food sector, including start-ups, established brands, and retailers seeking co-packing services.
Research and analyse market trends to build a strong pipeline of leads.
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Conduct meetings, pitches, and site visits to showcase and build trust with potential clients.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries and project management handovers.
Create tailored proposals, cost estimates, and contracts in collaboration with the operations and finance teams.
Negotiate terms and close deals that align with company objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
Proven track record in B2B sales within the food manufacturing, FMCG, or co-packing sector.
Strong understanding of the UK food market and supply chain dynamics.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build rapport and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for sales.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Full UK driving license and willingness to regularly travel across the UK
