Description: We are working with an innovative organisation specialising in cutting-edge digital signage solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead their digital signage offering, combining sales expertise, technical knowledge, and project management skills. We're seeking candidates who have had experience in selling software solutions specific to the Retail Analytics/Consumer Behaviour sectors into Retail, QSR and Hospitality environments!

The Role

This is a varied and exciting role where you will be responsible for driving the sales pipeline, converting prospects into clients, and managing the successful delivery of digital signage projects. You will work closely with both new and existing clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with their brand and business objectives.

As well as delivering exceptional client service, you will play a strategic role by feeding back market insights, competitor intelligence, and client feedback to help shape the organisation s future product development and service offering.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify and engage potential clients for digital signage solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients across various industries.
  • Create and present tailored sales proposals and compelling quotations.
  • Support existing clients, identifying opportunities to upgrade or enhance their digital signage solutions.
Project Management:
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from scoping client requirements to final installation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, design, and installation) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources while proactively addressing any challenges.
Technical Expertise:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital signage technology, including trends in customer experience, data analytics, and biometrics.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve challenges during the sales and implementation process.
Client Support & Training:
  • Deliver post-sales training and support to ensure clients maximise the value of their digital signage solutions.
  • Gather feedback to continuously refine and improve the organisation s products and services.

Market Insights:
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Provide feedback that influences product development and service enhancements.

What We re Looking For

We are looking for someone with:
  • Sales Experience: A proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within technology, SaaS or digital signage software.
  • Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of digital signage, including content creation, scheduling, and system capabilities.
  • Project Management Skills: Experience managing budgets, timelines, and cross-departmental projects.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: A personable, professional, and approachable individual who can build rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Commercial Awareness: The ability to manage costs effectively and align solutions with client objectives.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive and positive approach to handling challenges and finding solutions.
