We are looking for a Marketing Executive to support our Marketing Manager and busy sales team in promoting our world class products to a global audience.
Over 95% of our revenues are from outside the UK, predominantly sold through our network of international distributors who bring local expertise and knowledge to our customers.
Job description:
Working within a small but effective team, you will contribute to, and develop, integrated marketing campaigns to promote the company s products and services.
The marketing function works very closely with the sales team and as such your role will be to ensure that they, and our global distributors, have the appropriate marketing materials they need to effectively engage with our customer base. You will also assist in the management of a fairly busy conference timetable, booking and coordinating exhibition stands, preparing materials for the events and promoting our attendance.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the Marketing Manager in completing agreed activities as follows:
Creating and publishing posts and articles on the company s website and social media pages
Preparing coherent marketing campaign reports
Managing the marketing database and email distribution
Drafting marketing materials such as datasheets, newsletters and posters
Coordinating materials for conferences
Monitoring competitor activities
Liaising with Printers and other suppliers
About you:
Essential skills:
An intermediate user of Adobe Indesign and ideally Photoshop
Desirable abilities:
Good team worker internally, externally and cross culture
Communicating effectively verbally and in writing
Familiarity with delivering social media campaigns
Taking responsibility for owning and managing a problem - and solving it
Learning quickly there is a lot to learn
Prioritising and managing conflicting demands
Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, CRM software and ideally website content management systems)
Willing to undertake occasional international travel
