Description:

Adept Resourcing Commercial Division is thrilled to partner with a leading client in the waste-handling equipment industry, as they seek a dynamic Business Development & Account Manager to join their growing team. This unique hybrid role offers a mix of account management and business development responsibilities, with the opportunity to evolve into a dedicated Business Development Manager position by 2026.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role in managing a portfolio of existing accounts, growing relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Initially, you'll work in a hybrid capacity, managing the key accounts while driving targeted business development efforts. By 2026, your role will fully transition into business development, with clear pathways for future progression.

Key Responsibilities

Grow and develop a portfolio of existing accounts
Identify opportunities for account growth and upsell services
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention
Proactively seek new business opportunities
Conduct research and respond to tenders to secure new work
Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the company's marketing efforts
Contribute to monthly revenue targets
Stay informed about industry trends to support clients and identify opportunities for growth
Adhere to company policies and standards

What We're Looking For

We need a highly motivated individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a passion for both sales and account management. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience with tenders and bids
Knowledge of LinkedIn for business networking
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and Outlook
A proactive, adaptable mindset
Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or engineering service industries would be advantageous
Familiarity with service-based business models

Benefits:

Salary 35,000 + bonus scheme (aligned with company turnover and new business wins)
21 days + bank holidays (rising to 25 days + bank holidays after 12 months)
