Position Overview: As a Sales Account Manager a software and membership organisation, your main goal will be to drive revenue growth by promoting and selling software solutions to businesses and organisations within the UK division. Your role will involve identifying potential clients, establishing strong relationships, and closing deals to meet sales targets. Additionally, you will execute sales strategies, explore new business opportunities, and foster lasting customer partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Identify and prospect potential clients: - Source and compile prospect contact details
- Generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain client relationships: - Engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders within prospective organisations.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase software solutions through Microsoft Teams.
- Understand customer requirements and tailor software solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
Drive the sales process: - Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and negotiate sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Follow up with prospects to progress sales and obtain decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials.
Product Knowledge and Client Training: - Develop a deep understanding of our software products, their features, and benefits.
- Educate potential and existing members about new product releases, updates, and enhancements, and how they can drive value for their organisation.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops to ensure members are effectively utilizing our software solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape: - Continuously educate yourself on the latest software products, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market dynamics to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting: - Monitor sales metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to the executive team. Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements: - Prior experience in the Promotional Products space is a plus
- Proven track record in software sales or a similar B2B sales role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Ability to manage a team.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Knowledge of the software industry and promotional products industry, including different types of software solutions and common industry challenges would be advantageous.
