Thorn Baker are currently working with an esbalished Facitlies Management company to recruit an experienced Cleaning Account Manager, based on-site in the Hammersmith area of Greater London.

Our client has an outstanding opportunity for someone to join their client on site, to support, develop and maintain the account.

The opportunity is paying up to £50k PA, Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm.

Job Purpose:

  • Build and lead a team to deliver a first-class service across the portfolio
  • Take ownership of the site, team and the daily operations
  • Develop, train and manage the site team
  • Build quality relationships and hold client meetings when needed
  • Take the lead on continuous improvement, sustainability and H&S

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a first-class service to our client for the cleaning, reception, and post room.
  • Hold weekly team meetings with direct reports ensuring policies and procedures are followed and requirements/expectations are fully communicated at all levels.
  • To assist in the recruitment of employees, including but not limited to appraisals, interviews, training and HR relevant documentation and HR processes. Supporting management from other shifts may be a requirement from time to time.
  • Review best practice and present new ideas to keep ahead of the cleaning industry. Attend meetings and arrange training as required in order to accommodate the role.
  • Preparing management information, including but not restricted to Budget / KPI s / SLA s.
  • Ensuring all contractor activities comply with current Health & Safety legislation inclusive of their Risk Assessments & Safe Systems of Work
  • Oversee the operational delivery of other staff as required and ensure the on-site team has the correct skill set to perform their role unsupported and to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and coordinate the supply chain for our client
  • Carry out audits for our client ensuring KPI s are meet and exceeded
  • Identify areas of improvement in delivery of the services and processes and implement change as required.
  • Monitor, record and investigate accidents and near hits.
  • Provide cover and support to other Managers and Senior Managers from Site & departments.
  • Take part in the call out rota and attend emergency call outs if required
