My client is an exciting start-up tech company based in Cheltenham, on a mission to transform training and development through the use of innovative AI technology. They are now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join their expanding team. No prior experience in tech or sales is necessary as full training will be provided to help you succeed.
Responsibilities:
Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and social media to uncover new business opportunities
Qualify prospects and schedule meetings for the sales team to further develop the relationship
Nurture and manage relationships with new and existing clients
Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to enhance strategies and campaigns
Regularly track, report, and review sales activity to meet set targets
Ensure a seamless handover of client information to the sales team
Requirements:
A strong desire to learn and grow within the sales profession
Confident in reaching out to new clients through cold calls and digital communication
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly motivated, goal-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
