Our client is leading Importer & Distributor of Timber, Plywood and Panel Products and due to expansion they are seeking a SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE to lead and develop their Sales Team to promote their high end Timber and Panel products in the South West .This role requires an experienced SALES EXECUTIVE that has comprehensive knowledge of the Timber / Panel UK Markets and the desire to develop & grow sales through existing & new customers.
Reporting to: DEPOT DIRECTOR
As a SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE your role will be to oversee the day-day management of your Sales Team , ensure your Team achieve sales targets and volume. You will be responsible for pro-actively driving sales growth by continually look to build and maintain relationships with an exciting sectors including Timber & Builders Merchants, Shopfitters,Exhibition Companies and the KBB sector .
Key Responsibilities of SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE
Drive sales to ensure that your Team achieve sales targets, volume & margin targets
Staff training & development
Stock Management
Liaise with supply chain team & supplier
Quoting and costing customer requirements
Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
Maintain & expand your data base
Create monthly reports for the Management Team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Face to face selling and negotiation skills
Experience within the Timber / Panel Product Markets
Strong presenting skills
Self motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
Effective communication skills
Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
