National Account Manager Water Utilities

  • £65,000 Salary + Bonus
  • OTE £80,000+
  • Benefits include Car, Expenses, Pension, Holiday, Life assurance, etc.
  • Infrastructure & Utilities Water Sector focused.
  • Providing rental solutions as a service to large complex contractors.
  • Inheriting £500k+ of accounts, with a clear plan to increase in excess of £2M over 4 Years.
  • This role is focusing on growing current accounts, developing customer relationships and managing opportunities.

The Role:

  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills, in this role you will be responsible working out and defining the best course of action to grow and expand accounts.
  • Negotiation: Negotiation with clients will be an everyday occurrence. Being able to negotiate effectively whilst ensuring quality for the customer and margin for the business is a crucial part of the role.
  • Communication: Due to a diverse customer base excellent communication skills are imperative. There will be a need to deal with customers who are operating at a national level so the ability to communicate across different levels is crucial.
  • Customer Focus: Deep commitment to customer satisfaction and experience in fostering long-term client relationships.

The Candidate:

  • Education/Background: Mechanical Engineering Pumps, Filtration, Fluid control.
  • Commercial Experience: 4+ Years in commercial positions dealing with complex customers and accounts.
  • Relationship Management: Experience in customer facing positions dealing with senior stakeholders and decision makers and creating relationships with long-term value.
