Our client is a leader in providing repairs, installations, and engineering consultancy services heavy engineering. Clients span industries such as power generation, petro-chemical, aggregate, utilities, large process plants, and logistics. They are now looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Technical Sales Engineer / Estimator to sell our company's M&E services. The role requires a strong background in estimating, as well as procuring new business opportunities in both the manufacturing and fabricating workshop, and field service activities. Duties: - Attend customer sites to scope, measure, and qualify materials from engineering drawings and specifications producing quotations, pricing, and tender bids
- Manage client relationships maintaining communication with clients throughout the process
- Follow sales action plans and strategies to achieve monthly sales targets
- Resolve customer complaints effectively
- Conduct proactive sales calls to generate more sales
- Attend weekly sales meetings
- Promote the business brand consistently
- Ensure timely delivery of information
Experience: - Must have experience in sales/estimation within a similar engineering or manufacturing environment
- Ability to produce quotations and conceptual designs/sketches is essential
- Must have great communications skills, highly literate and numerate, with commercial acumen
- Must have confidence in dealing directly with decision makers and customers
- Proficiency in CRM, CAD software, and other sales tools along with Microsoft office applications
- Flexible and adaptive to changing requirements
- Must have a focus on quality and the ability to emphasize its importance
- An understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing methods, and engineering principles is required
- Industry experience in machining and fabrication services would be desirable
- Ability to strengthen customer relationships and develop new business opportunities is preferable
- Skilled in producing presentations to promote new products and services
- Competence in compiling quotations and sales specifications
Benefits: - Salary 40,000 - 50,000
