Description:
NW Recruitment are looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager for their well-established client in Burnley.
With dual aspects to the role, we are looking for someone with a Customer Service / Sales Account Manager background.
Sales Aspect
New Business Development with the aim of increasing sales for the company via self-generated new business leads and development of existing customers.
Propose and develop future strategy for stock sales.
Responsible for calculating margins and generating quotes on your own projects.
Complete and process quotations and other documents ensuring all relevant details are present for processing.
Outbound calls to promote products.
Listen to customer requirement and present appropriately to make a sale.
Focus on stock product sales.
Maintain timely and accurate records of all sales activities.
Achieve profitable quarterly sales targets.
Account Manager Aspect
Manage existing and potential customer enquiries received via phone or email including:
Enquiry handling and logging
Development of formal quotation.
Liaise internally and with customer to ensure delivery on time.
Liaise with the NPD team, sourcing and purchasing departments.
Forecasting of opportunities on a monthly / quarterly basis including the accurate determination of when the sale will land and the associated likelihood of success.
Input data onto SAGE system
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers at all management levels.
Liaise with buyer and account handlers to manage stock levels.
Complete all enquiries in-line with company processes.
Handle incoming phone calls.
Provide holiday/sickness cover for order processing.
Any other reasonable tasks required by the company.
Required Skills, Experience and Requirements
Enthusiastic and proactive nature.
Excellent communication skills with customers and suppliers, both verbal and written.
Highly process driven with excellent file management skills.
Clear, articulate and effective communicator.
Effective Time Management.
UK travel to visit existing and potential customers with the possibility of overnight stays may be required.
