The Role:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of managing and developing a portfolio of accounts across the North West. Your primary focus will be to nurture existing relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities. You will work closely with the Design, Estimating, and Internal Sales departments, ensuring you have the internal support needed to excel in your role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing a strategic sales plan.
  • Developing existing accounts to their full potential.
  • Targeting and winning profitable new business in line with budgetary targets.
  • Submitting sales reports in the agreed formats and within set timeframes.
  • Adhering to company procedures regarding customer contracts and commercial aspects.
  • Providing market analysis to support strategic business development.
  • Acquiring and maintaining thorough knowledge of the region, key users, and market sectors to identify and exploit new business opportunities.
  • Project managing the introduction of new customers, ensuring their smooth transition to the internal customer service teams.


Candidate Profile:
Ideal candidates will have experience in selling corrugated packaging solutions, having worked for an Integrated, Sheet Plant, or Packaging Distribution business. Essential to the role is previous field sales experience and commercial awareness. Candidates should be familiar with the sales processes involved in developing existing business and building relationships at all levels.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
