This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in media or B2B sales leadership. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving team performance and business growth. The role offers a varied work environment, combining office-based responsibilities, field support, and flexibility for home working.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager:

  • Coach and support the sales team to develop their expertise across various sectors.
  • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve targets and personal development goals.
  • Manage key accounts by showcasing expert product knowledge and exceptional sales skills.
  • Lead daily team meetings and conduct monthly one-to-one performance reviews.
  • Plan and forecast financial performance, identifying and addressing revenue gaps.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor strategies, and product developments.
  • Foster a positive team environment that attracts and retains high-performing sales professionals.

Skills and Experience Required for the Sales Manager Role:

  • Strong verbal communication and clear, concise writing skills.
  • Proven sales coaching and leadership abilities.
  • Analytical and numerate with proficiency in computer systems.
  • Experience in sales leadership, customer focus, and strategic planning.
  • Success in field sales and telesales roles.
  • Budget management experience is desirable.
  • Evidence of professional development and leadership training.
  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
