Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell high-quality products to the architectural and construction sectors.
  • Focus on generating and managing specifications with architects, design studios, developers, contractors, and installers.
  • Split role: 80% new business development, 20% account management.
  • Oversee projects of varying sizes, from design phase to on-site installation.
  • Conduct CPD seminars as needed and maintain a strong project pipeline.
  • Use CRM systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Network with key decision-makers to drive brand recognition.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitors' activities.
  • Ensure accurate, timely reporting on all business activities.

Personal Attributes:

  • Experience in specification sales with architects and specifiers.
  • Background in selling high-value or technical products to contractors.
  • Strong existing relationships with architect practices preferred.
  • Excellent people skills, clear communicator, and strong negotiator.
  • Well-presented, punctual, and highly organized.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to achieve results.
  • Comfortable working autonomously with a disciplined project management approach.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar sales environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the residential, hospitality, and commercial markets is desirable.
