Role responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering a seamless customer journey, from initial enquiry to project handover.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting precise measurements at client properties for bespoke projects
  • Providing tailored advice and recommendations on products to meet client needs
  • Preparing detailed and accurate quotes
  • Following up with customers post-quotation to address queries and secure sales
  • Handling customer enquiries via email and in person, ensuring a high standard of service
  • Collaborating with the Branch Manager and Installation teams for smooth project handovers
  • Keeping meticulous records of site visits, customer interactions, and sales opportunities

Skills and experience required

Essential:

  • A valid, clean driving licence (due to regular travel to client sites)
  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong customer focus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and practical measurement skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in IT systems

Desirable:

  • Background in home improvements, construction, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
