E-commerce Digital Marketing Assistant (In-house)

Location: Chadderton, Oldham

Salary: Competitive depending on experience

An experienced E-commerce Digital Marketing Assistant is needed to join one of the UK s leading suppliers of Lighting and Homewares who are looking to expand their team. The company have their own stores across the UK and 8 ecommerce platforms. Based close to J21 in Chadderton, Oldham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with well-known brands and has strong promotional prospects to managing the social media department under the e-commerce director s control.

The company believe in promoting from within and are looking for an experienced B2C e-commerce Digital Marketing Assistant to help drive their online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies and be looking to contribute to a busy team.

The Role

  • Execute digital marketing, including social media campaigns and affiliate marketing working closely with agencies to get the best ad placements.
  • Create and optimise content for customer online channels, staying up to date with industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Writing blogs and product listing copy for multiple websites, with good SEO to drive traffic from organic search.
  • Regular housekeeping of copy, product listings, trends, occasions, and markdowns.
  • Monitoring and replying to online feedback via Trust Pilot, Feefo, Amazon, E-bay and Google Business pages for the Litecraft stores.
  • Measure and report performance of all campaigns to the Channel Manager.
  • Monitor and report findings on the customer journey through analytics.
  • Come up with marketing campaigns and ideas for Litecraft/BHS to promote on social media
  • Help to build a presence on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Houzz and Tiktok using a marketing strategy and networking with influencers.

Skills and Qualifications

  • MUST have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge using Microsoft Office including excel, Social Media Platforms, Google Analytics, WordPress, and Hootsuite.
  • Be up to date with current social trends, new features, and platforms.
  • Self-motivated, flexible attitude and highly organised
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent administrative, time management and organisation skills
  • Basic Photoshop, or video editing skills. If not, must be willing to learn
