Head Of Foodservice - Hertfordshire is primarily responsible for Commercial Management of the foodservice account including sales, project management, relationship building, pricing, sales analysis and account building.
Key Responsibilities:
To be the first point of contact for all commercial queries raised by retail account
Full P/L responsibility for the account
Drive new opportunities and business growth
Maintain active working relationships with relevant personnel, provide support and advice where required
To attend where possible all NPD sessions and be up to date with all projects and discussions concerning the retail account
Work with the NPD team to produce and manage critical paths for all new products and projects defining timelines and effective lines of responsibility for all tasks
Work closely with the NPD team to provide support for all presentations and ensure indicative prices and market data are provided as part of the presentation
Provide key information such as briefs, volumes and timeframes to the commercial team in order or them to provide accurate pricing
Manage stocks where applicable
Understand sales forecasts, actual figures and promotional activity
To liaise with Technical Team to actively manage, assess root cause and close out complaints
To complete an quarterly reviews of the retail business including sales, profits, new products and future targets
To carry out product and range reviews to ensure we maintain an accurate database of products relevant to our business used across retail account
Proactively pursue and develop new business with retail account and other retail and food service customers
To carry out any other duties commensurate with your role as assigned by the Company Directors
