We are seeking to hire a Commercial Manager to join the team, who will drive the performance and growth of the business, whilst leading the purchasing team to optimise procurement and enhance profitability. With a clear path to commercial directorship, the successful applicant will be of the sort of character that thrives on family values, delivering exceptional customer service, and enjoys the prospect of tackling some of the industry's big names. Key responsibilities: - UK Sales: Working closely with distributors to grow their businesses and ours.
- Export Sales: Focusing on international growth opportunities.
- Contract Manufacturing: Managing partnerships to produce products under other brands. Identified as a key growth area.
- Licensing: Developing relationships to license Cleenol formulations to international factories.
- Supporting and inspiring teams to excel.
- Leading, managing and developing:
- Sales Manager and Export Account Manager to ensure collaborative and effective operations.
- Purchasing Team to ensure efficient operations and cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor business performance through detailed analysis and provide insights and actionable recommendations to optimise profitability
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with distributors, partners, and clients to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and mutual growth.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align on growth strategies, campaigns, and brand positioning.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market opportunities to position Cleenol as a market leader.
Skills, experience, qualifications, values and attitude: - Proven experience in a commercial, sales, or business development role.
- Experience in the cleaning chemical, homecare or personal care manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with licensing and contract manufacturing agreements.
- Experience in working with international markets and export sales
- A natural leader and collaborator with people management skills and a track record of team development.
- Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and analysing business performance.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal teams.

Salary and benefits: - Competitive Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE.
