Cloud 9 are currently working exclusively with a multi-award-winning paper-based Printed Packaging business who are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager for the UK. This role incorporates a large aspect of project management, and you will be working collaboratively and independently supporting major blue-chip, multi-sited, multi-national brands/clients. Whilst this is not a sales role you will have experience working either within a sales team or supporting one on a technical level. Key Responsibilities
Visiting customers, independently and with the relevant Account Manager supporting them with your technical experience.
Delivering excellent customer service and a positive experience to major brands, our client's key customers.
Conduct thorough testing on client projects and working closely with necessary departments internally and with the client to ensure successful completion of their objectives.
Working with production team to understand production feasibility and ensuring design works with customer machinery.
Foster strong customer relationships to best understand their requirements thus enabling the development of products for trialling.
Prepare and present powerful presentations, showcasing our clients' products and services to key stakeholders, demonstrating our clients value added improvements and risk mitigation.
Develop forward-thinking strategy plans and presenting these to relevant internal departments and the client.
Comply and promote the company's core values and Health & Safety regulations.
Supporting the sales lead in appropriate next stages.
The Person
Experience working in the corrugated sector of the packaging industry, perhaps with a Sales or Design background and ready for the next step in your career.
Strong track record of building long lasting connections both internally with colleagues and externally with various levels within major brands.
Project management experience.
Experience working with major blue-chip customers.
Proficient in print and good commercial acumen.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to drive opportunities and strategies.
Excellent communication skills; ability and confidence to communicate up to Board level.
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
Inquisitive mind.
Willingness and ability to travel.
Remuneration You will receive a high basic salary (negotiable DOE), company car or car allowance, 25 days holiday plus stats, pension etc.
