Holt Engineering are seeking a Technical Sales Estimator to join our client in Lee-on-the-Solent. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, combined with excellent sales and communication skills. The company has been operating for over 70 years and works heavily within the aerospace and oil & gas industries. They are looking to expand their reach to other sectors.
Sales Estimator Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Generate and process sales quotes and proposals
Provide technical support and advice to customers
Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth
Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products
Manage the sales pipeline and track sales performance
Sales Estimator Requirements:
Strong technical background in engineering (mechanical preference)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong negotiation and sales skills
Proficiency in using sales and CRM software
Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Experience in the engineering industry, preferably in a sales or technical role
