External Sales Executive

Adecco are currently recruiting for an External Account Manager located in or around the Sheffield or Leeds area to cover accounts for the North of the country. With a company head office based in Wellingborough, you will be supported by an office based Internal sales representative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a relaxed yet dynamic business environment, where every contribution matters.

You will be working collaboratively within a very experienced sales team, and must be motivated to assist the company in developing new and existing relationships to maximise sales.

Job title: External Account Manager

Salary: 30k+ (salary based only)

Location: Sheffield/Leeds area (Home/field based with occasional trips to Wellingborough, Northamptonshire)
The ideal candidate will be located around Sheffield/Leeds close to the M1/A1. The accounts covered may be located anywhere between Derby up to the Scottish border and areas inbetween.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their needs and provide tailored solutions.

1. Sales and Revenue Growth:

• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
• Develop and execute account strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.

1. Market and Product Knowledge:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
• Provide clients with product updates, training, and support as needed.

1. Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure client needs are met.
• Coordinate with the sales team to align on account strategies and share insights.

1. Reporting and Analysis:

• Monitor account performance and prepare regular reports on sales activities, revenue, and client satisfaction.
• Analyse account data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

1. Contract and Negotiation:

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial terms.
• Ensure all contractual obligations are met by both the company and the client.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with our key clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the market.

Please note the successful candidate will be required to assist in covering the patch of Ireland and will be requested to stay over in Ireland for approxiamtely 2-4 nights every quarter
