About The Role

Conker Communications is looking for a hardworking numbers orientated digital marketing executive with an intelligent approach to join our friendly, fast-paced marketing agency based in Didsbury, Manchester.

We are looking for a natural problem solver who is passionate about analytics and digital marketing solutions. As part of a buzzy, integrated agency, this role supports the account handling team across multiple, varied accounts.

Reporting to the head of digital services, you will be given the opportunity to grow with the department and develop skills that enrich your interests. This will be a varied role across B2B and B2C clients where you will use different techniques and messaging depending on the audience and channel.

With ROI the focus of any digital marketing activity, strong numeracy skills will be essential.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in delivery of marketing strategies alongside the communications team.
  • The set up and management of paid search ads campaigns across Google and Bing.
  • The set up and management of ads across Meta, LinkedIn and Tiktok.
  • Keyword and competitor research across search and social channels.
  • Optimising on-site content for SEO and campaign activity.
  • Email marketing schedules and build for ecommerce clients.
  • Working with the team to enhance client relationships and to grow accounts.
  • Support in the development and implementation of digital marketing plans.
  • Analysing data to identify successes and growth opportunities.
  • Keep up and identify any market trends and insights.
  • Measure and report on performance of all marketing activity.
  • Supporting other members of the team in producing strategy documents and proposals.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Experience in managing paid media accounts.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • An eye for detail and strong numerical skills.
  • Track record of delivery against project milestones.
  • Self-starter, analytical, methodical, passionate about digital marketing and technology in general.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good documentation skills - can produce and present quality insights using simple language where required for non-technical clients.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Google, Bing, Facebook and other certifications.
  • Ability to assist with business development opportunities.
  • Knowledge of SEO including on-page technical and offsite factors using SEO.
  • Good working knowledge of HTML and CMS platforms.
