Digital Marketing Executive Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Head of Marketing to deliver and implement the digital marketing strategy, ensuring it aligns with the wider marketing plan
Support in the development of digital campaigns with the aim of increasing brand awareness and online traffic
Produce SEO-rich and engaging copy to be used across all digital channels, including the website, social media sites, blogs, and case studies
Take ownership of all email marketing activity which involves developing engaging and targeted emails to be sent through the CRM
Manage the company's social media channels, which includes scheduling content using Hootsuite, developing captivating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and creating engaging copy
Maintain the company website, ensuring it is regularly updated and working with an external developer to identify and implement structural changes
Utilise Google Analytics and SEMrush to measure and report on digital marketing success, using these findings to improve and inform future campaigns and digital activity
Collaborate with an external PR agency to develop press releases and increase brand awareness through positive media relations
Use SEO and PPC to drive website and social media traffic, with the support of the Head of Marketing
Undertake regular competitor activity to identify areas of improvement for all marketing activity
Monitor digital marketing trends and insights to optimise online performance and inform content strategy
Digital Marketing Executive Skills and Experience:
Possesses broad marketing experience with a particular emphasis on digital marketing
Demonstrates a strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and has experience in managing social media channels
Strong content writing skills and an understanding of SEO
Knowledge and experience of using paid ads would be advantageous
Analytically minded and insight-driven, with experience in using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and social and email analytics
Proficient user of WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and MS Office
Experienced working in collaboration with external agencies
A degree in Marketing or English would be preferred but not essential
