Responsibilities of the Sales Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for:
Being fully accountable for sales.
Driving new business.
Hitting your own new business targets.
Controlling and maintaining overall trading margin.
Managing a team of Field Sales Representatives and the Internal Sales Team.
Managing recruitment of the sales team when required.
Attending trade events.
Working with the senior management team to develop company strategy.
Presenting budgets, strategy plans and mid-year reviews.
Reporting weekly updates to the Managing Director and Head of Finance.
Requirements of the Sales Manager
Must be sales driven and hungry to succeed.
Able to demonstrate a good track record of sales and hitting targets.
Possess strong leadership and managerial skills.
Strong analytical skills and numbers driven.
Ability to build good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
