Brook Street have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join one of our clients on a permanent basis from January 2025.

Job Title: Business Development Manager (Automotive Parts)

Location: Stevenage - or within commuting distance
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 per annum + 15% Bonus
Start Date - January 2025

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week
Four Days per week on the road with one admin day per week, onsite or working from home

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our clients successful team in the automotive parts industry. This is a business-to-business (B2B) sales role, where you will be responsible for building and developing strong relationships with new/prospective clients within the automotive sector and securing new business opportunities

Our client has a solid customer base across a wide variety of sectors- but they are looking to take their operation to the next level.

You will spend the first 2 weeks onsite at our clients office in Stevenage, learning all about the company, the industry, the onsite manufacturing facility, their operation and everything they have to offer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and sell a range of automotive parts to businesses nationally.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Identify and target new business opportunities to expand your customer base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients.
  • Work closely with the internal team to ensure orders are fulfilled and customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Manage your schedule with 4 days spent on the road visiting clients and 1 admin day per week (working from home or in the office).
  • Gathering feedback from customers to identify areas of improvement.
  • Working with colleagues to develop and implement strategies for launching new programmes and products.
  • Visiting potential customers in the workplace or other locations as required.


What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive or related industries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
  • Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a passion for delivering results.
  • Full UK driving license (Company car provided).
