ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for a talented Account Manager wanting to further their sales career in an award-winning online subscription information service for social workers and other professionals working with adults, children, and families.

This can be a remote, hybrid, or office-based role. It comes with a favorable salary of up to £40,000 plus circa 25% OTE (uncapped) and excellent benefits.

Your client territory will be the South/South East of England consisting of Local Authorities, and Universities.

The Opportunity

To give you an idea of how the Account Manager role would look and feel, here are some of the things you can expect:

Through strong business development and account management skills you will get a thorough insight into the social care sector and be part of something that makes a real difference

Your approach will focus on delivering value for your customers by consultatively selling business information services to a designated group of prospects and as well as managing accounts to secure renewals and upsell opportunities. This will be achieved through strong business development and account management skills, through regular face to face meetings (currently via virtual platforms)

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative ways to generate business from new customers
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers/influencers and establish a network of contacts within customer organisations
  • Effectively manage given customer base to be visible with all clients
  • Work effectively with the wider department to ensure maximum engagement and secure renewals
  • Develop account plans for customers, setting strategies and timelines for review
  • Penetrate existing customers to increase revenue
  • Possess up to date knowledge of clients and prospects and their local and regional markets
  • Provide the highest standards of service to all customers
  • Deliver accurate and effective internal reporting on renewals, upsells, and new business
  • Ensure product knowledge is of a high standard to enable sales potential to be realised, including our competitive positioning
