Job Title: Customer Service & Sales Advisor

Location: Alcester B50

Salary: Up to £28,000 plus commission - OTE £35,000 - £38,000

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the automotive industry, for an enthusiastic and skilled Customer Service and Sales Advisor. This role is critical in delivering outstanding customer service and managing the full sales cycle, from initial enquiries to post-sales support. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, reactive environment where customer satisfaction is paramount. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire process, from first contact to the completion of sales, ensuring every interaction meets the high standards of service our client is known for. This role also requires a proactive approach to managing orders, handling payments, and upselling relevant products or services to enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage new leads with effective customer qualification to guide them towards a sale.
  • Ensure all customer enquiries are answered within set SLAs, prioritising customer experience.
  • Manage the complete sales process, from initial contact through to invoicing and delivery.
  • Identify and promote relevant additional products or services.
  • Process payments, create quotes, maintain records, and manage shipment arrangements.
  • Gather post-sale feedback and contribute insights for marketing efforts.
  • Oversee the customer order lifecycle, including estimates, invoices, and aftersales follow-up.
  • Meet departmental KPIs and personal targets.
  • Process online sales orders within 1 hour during business hours.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries, complaints, and social media queries.
Skills Required:
  • Automotive Experience is Essential for this role, please do not apply if you d not have this experience.
  • Essential: Strong communication skills, PC literacy, CRM and accounts software experience, data entry accuracy.
  • Desirable: Multi-tasking, MS Office skills, social media proficiency, positive attitude, teamwork, and fluency in a foreign language.
