We are happy to be partnering with a fantastic digital marketing agency in Wolverhampton that specialises in web development, E-commerce, and Magento. Our client believes in providing cost-effective solutions to enhance their clients web development while also supporting their digital marketing (PPC, SEO, and social media).

Our client is looking for a junior candidate who is looking to progress their career in web
development and seeking an opportunity to go down the Magento path.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a client-facing web development role or
experience in a digital account management position with some web development aspects.

The candidate will need a great willingness to learn and a passion for all things digital.

All training will be provided in-house by the client

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new features and fixing bugs for the current portfolio of e-commerce stores
  • Take phone calls and ticket requests from our clients and ensure their websites are performing to the best of their ability.
  • Liaise with the internal marketing team to develop the client's Digital Marketing approach from a technical point of view.
  • Maintaining and optimising infrastructure to provide the best performance across all stores
  • Carrying out regular deployments and ensuring stability is top priority
  • Carrying out regular code reviews
  • Listen and understand our client's requests for feature development on their website, and then liaise with our development team to develop the requested features.
  • Building bespoke modules to accomplish business requirements
  • Collaborate with SEO to ensure top search engine rankings, boosting visibility across all listings
  • Collaborating with designers and backend developers
  • Customising and maintaining Magento themes
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing web infrastructure, ensuring stability and performance of live websites.
