We re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Marketing Assistant to join our team in Birmingham City Centre. The successful Marketing Assistant will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends, managing social media accounts, executing marketing campaigns, and designing company collateral.

We re a recruitment agency based in Birmingham, growing at a rapid rate and in the need for an extra pair of hands in the Marketing department. If you have good written skills, a creative flare and a knack for social media, this might be perfect for you.

What you ll be doing:

  • Checking all job adverts on the website to ensure they re written to a high standard, and optimised for ranking on job boards and Google
  • Using Canva to design social media posts for both the company socials and consultants personal branding
  • Writing blog posts and content around Social Housing and Recruitment
  • Posting and writing social posts for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Researching social media platforms to discover trending videos and audios to use internally
  • Updating the website with new information, such as new members of staff
  • Taking pictures for digital collateral, such as company brochures and social posts
  • Tracking marketing leads and outcomes
  • Using an email marketing platform to send out mail shots
  • Helping with the organisation of events
  • Helping with the delivery of campaigns
  • Writing case studies for the website

The successful Marketing Assistant will have:

  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous copy writing experience
  • Excellent written skills and an eye for proof reading
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Extensive experience with using social media accounts
  • Experience with using Canva
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

As a recruitment agency, we foster a hard working sales environment, and you'll be expected to work in the office 5 days a week within the first 12 weeks of this role. After that, working from home options can be discussed and may range from 1-2 days from home a week.

You must have exceptional written skills for this role.
