We have been retained by a key client of ours in the engineering sector to source and secure a Sales Manager to help to grow one of their manufacturing divisions. Our client operates as a subcontract manufacturer to the aerospace, automotive, Defence and industrial sectors. They are looking for a proactive and innovative hands-on Sales Manager to deliver on their strategy for growth.
Reporting to the Group Business Development Director, you will be responsible for:
Developing new engineering accounts across their machining and fabrication division.
Identify opportunities for growth.
Mange the sales cycle from enquiry to completion.
Liaise with commercial, technical and project stakeholders.
Experienced in technical solutions sales, you will have sold engineering, machining and/or fabricated parts into aerospace, automotive, rail or defence sectors, ideally. You will be experienced in project-based sales cycles from concept to completion. Ideally you will have an engineering qualification or will have been a sales engineer in the past or currently. You will be proactive and hungry but will also be realistic with customers and able to manage expectations.
This is a fantastic opportunity with a growing SME manufacturer and will offer a salary of between 50,000 and 70,000 plus package.
