Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer London - 3 days in the office, 2 WFH 90-100k Nine Twenty recruitment are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking IT solutions and services provider who deliver cutting-edge technologies that drive transformation and innovation for their customers. They are looking to add an experienced Solutions Engineer to their team in London. As a SE you will be expected to do the following: - Contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from discovery and presales through to final delivery.
- Design AWS solutions aligned with customer requirements, ensuring adherence to AWS and industry best practices.
- Engage with clients throughout the project, handling tasks such as requirements gathering, quoting, and progress tracking.
- Develop and prototype AWS cloud infrastructure, preparing detailed documentation for infrastructure and security architecture.
- Collaborate with the engineering team during project implementation, ensuring best practices in DevOps are followed.
- Act as a point of escalation for Cloud Engineers during the build process.
- Participate in cloud and industry-related events, including client meetings.
- Mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure leading-edge solutions.
Required Technical Skills: - 3+ years of experience as an AWS Solutions Architect.
- At least one AWS Associate-level certification.
- Hands-on experience in a DevOps environment, including Linux, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with serverless applications, such as event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Strong networking knowledge, including IP ranges, subnetting, routing, and VPNs.
- Exceptional documentation skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
Preferred Technical Skills: - AWS Professional or Specialty-level certifications.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Background in cloud migration projects.
