Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow our clients national market share. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and managing key customer relationships to ensure their material handling solutions continue to meet and exceed market expectations. This position is ideal for a goal-oriented professional with excellent industry knowledge, and a passion for sales and customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development: Create and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy to achieve revenue and market share targets for the material handling products.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Market Analysis: Conduct regular market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Develop accurate sales forecasts, monitor key performance metrics, and report progress to senior management.
Product Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to ensure the effective promotion of our material handling products.
Collaboration: Work closely with other areas of the business to help drive sales and create the best possible experience for the client.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; or extensive industry experience.
Skills:
Proven track record in sales strategy & delivering on sales targets
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse market data and trends to make informed business decisions
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
