Alexander Steele recruitment are looking for a business development manager for a food manufacturing client in the London area, our client is a food manufacturer supplying clients within the UK and worldwide The right candidate will be someone who cans develop new business opportunities, Build relationships and develop new strategies to drive the business forward.

Build your own network base of clients and develop existing relationships
Key responsibilities:
Meet or exceed annual target for sales for existing accounts
Ensure a high quality of service is provided to all customers, with emphasis put on key accounts.
Be involved in new product launches and development while also exceeding target for sale of new products.
Identify high spend account and ensure action plans are in place to meet targets for these accounts, while also ensuring further growth of accounts.
Maintain key historical sale documents and similar key data so it can be traced, analysed and communicated to relevant superiors and as a tool for providing continuous service to the customers.
Develop and maintain a new business pipeline within the food industry with a major focus on wholesale.
Experience and skills required:
Strong business development skills
Communication and negotiation skills
Analytical thinking to analyse trends in market
High quality time management and organisational skills
Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
University degree qualified in either business administration, marketing or a related field
Experience of working in food or FMCG sector
