A global leader in cosmetics is looking for a New Product Developer to join the NPD team. This is a great opportunity to work in NPD for a market leader in cosmetics and personal care. Ideal requirements;
We are looking for someone with experience in a research based role / trend analysis, sales, following trends, developing and presenting new trends.
Experience in or passion for cosmetics would be ideal!
The role;
Identifying and converting market opportunities based on emerging trends.
Correctly identifying and size opportunities at both macro and micro level.
Managing the NPD process through from initial concept to order.
Working cross functionally and collaboratively across the business including, R&D, technical and design.
Offering personalised private label solutions to clients (initial concept cads to packaging and final range)
Creation of briefs for design teams and customers.
Creating good relations ships with account managers and merchandising
Product architecture including copy writing for formulation developments
Briefing new formulation developments, working closely with in house chemists to develop skincare and colour cosmetic formulations both in the UK and China.
Working closely with the regulatory
Preparing product costings for the Account Managers to quote.
