Key Account Director Rotherham fully on-site Salary: £40,000 Our client, a leading business communications company are currently recruiting a Key Account Director based in Rotherham. In your new role you will be responsible for protecting and developing revenue across one or more Key Accounts. Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Ensure financial targets are achieved by protecting and developing Key Accounts, safeguarding revenue and maximising growth by agreeing and securing Key Account contracts
- Take commercial responsibility and establish optimal cost models to maximise Key Account revenue and profitability
- Insulate the business from risk by adhering to and enforcing Key Account contractual and brand guidelines
- Attend client meetings including regular structured formal reviews; minuting and sharing information with colleagues in the Sales team
- Where necessary, establish and define working processes for customer services, in conjunction and with agreement of the Commercial Director / Customer Services Manager to best service their key accounts and drive service excellence
- Provide monthly KPI reports showing actual against budget across internal key measurables
- Provide KPI reports to relevant key account contacts showing actual against target on defined client measurables
- When appropriate, take new product briefings from customers and be responsible for managing or overseeing non BAU project work
- Develop ways to grow the business with your customers and provide solutions to management in the face of challenges
- Act as the senior point of escalation for major Key Account issues or unresolved day to day problems
- Deliver sales and KPI presentations, online demonstrations and training to customers and colleagues when required
Skills/Experience: - Previous experience working in a print related or customer communications sector
- Previous experience in project and client management
- Previous experience in a role that involves a sales component
- Excellent presentation skills
- Have good attention to detail, being thorough and analytical
Qualifications: - 3 GCSE s (including Maths and English) at A-C grade or equivalent
- Full UK driving licence
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm with the ability to be flexible in accordance with business requirements.
