Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The role

  • Responsible for raising/processing customers orders and after amending sending these out to factories.
  • Liaising with customers regarding orders, problem solving and making decisions in conjunction with team leader and if required with Director.
  • Ensuring that all the information, style, fabrics, trims, prices, shipment date and all other relevant information are correct and as per customer requirements.
  • Ensuring customer requirements are achieved through all stages of the critical path from first sample, order, pre-production to final delivery.
  • Meeting all pre-production stages of the customer, including fabric performance testing standards
  • Ensuring all parcels with samples/submissions to customers and factories have correct and relevant and update to date information.
  • Have effective communication at all levels with the teams, internally and external.
  • When required attend customer meetings to ensure continued customer satisfaction and that all opportunities are capitalised on.
  • Reporting to the Team leader / Director with weekly and monthly updates, on critical path and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Ad hoc duties as required by management.

Senior Account Manager / Merchandiser - The candidate

  • Ability to build excellent customer and supplier relations.
  • Understanding of garment production industry
  • IT literate with sound experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft programmes.
  • Experience of managing fast-paced critical path.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to meet short deadlines.
  • Ability to develop and inspire a close-knit team.
  • Capable of overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Flexible approach to working to fast moving, changing demands.
  • Minimum at least 2 years experience in a similar role
