Ipswich + Hybrid (Flexible)

CloudScope is hiring on behalf of a leading digital marketing agency in Ipswich, recognised for its innovative and client-focused SEO strategies. Reporting to the Head of Search Strategy, the Lead SEO Strategist will play a key role in guiding both technical and strategic SEO efforts, while leading a team of Trainees, Executives, Consultants, and Senior/Principal Strategists.

The Role

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of SEO professionals, ensuring regular check-ins, effective delegation, and clear guidance to support their professional growth.
  • Technical SEO: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify optimisation opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure client websites align with best practices for search engines.
  • Strategic Development: Design and implement SEO strategies that align with client objectives, focusing on long-term growth and improved search performance.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Evaluate data trends and SEO metrics, using insights to create detailed reports and client presentations with actionable recommendations.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client meetings to discuss SEO performance, showcase team strategies, and build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Client Services, Commercial, and other Search teams, ensuring a seamless approach to campaign planning and execution.
