Marketing Assistant - Temporary Contract

Are you an energetic and enthusiastic individual with experience in a retail environment? Do you possess strong organisational skills and thrive in a fast-paced work environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Our client, a leading retail company, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and supporting the marketing team with various projects. As a Marketing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the operations team and gain valuable experience in the retail industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise purchase orders and update finance trackers
  • Manage the VM guidelines, including monthly send-outs
  • Place product orders and manage seasonal wrapping allocations for all stores
  • Update digital screens in-store to ensure accurate and engaging content
  • Work closely with the operations team to manage the distribution of VM material
  • Create codes for promotions and campaigns
  • Assist in creating subcontractor briefs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in raising purchase orders
  • Strong initiative and ability to multitask effectively
  • Exceptional organisational skills to manage high workloads
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities

This is an 8-week temporary contract with a competitive hourly rate starting from 20.87. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, blending remote work with in-office collaboration.
