Are you a creative, results-driven marketing professional with a passion for fitness? We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join the team at one of London's most prominent boutique studios. With several sites, this role is integral in driving both digital and traditional marketing strategies to further enhance brand awareness, attract new members, and strengthen community engagement.

The Role:

Salary: 50k + Bonus

Working Hours: 40 hours p/w

Leave: 25 Days per annum (plus bank holidays).

Your duties will encompass a wide range of disciplines and skills, including strategy development, analysis, strategy execution and content creation.

Reporting to:

• The Director

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the gym's growth objectives across both online and offline channels.
  • Collaborate with the Club Director and the marketing team to devise digital marketing strategies that target specific audiences, driving engagement, lead generation, and conversions.
  • Utilise market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine marketing approaches, emphasising data-driven decision-making.

Campaign Management:

  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and display advertising.
  • Create and optimise engaging content that resonates with our target audience, ensuring brand alignment and maximising reach across all platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver maximum ROI.

Digital Presence & Content Management:

  • Oversee the gym's digital presence, including managing the website, social media platforms, and email marketing, ensuring consistent messaging and effective user experiences.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including Personal Trainers and Group Fitness Coaches, to promote their expertise and classes through digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to produce multimedia content that enhances brand visibility.
  • Maintain content calendars, manage website updates, and oversee in-studio screen content and promotions.

Event Planning & Community Engagement:

  • Plan and coordinate gym events, sponsorships, and community partnerships to increase brand visibility and foster member engagement.
  • Leverage cross-promotional opportunities by collaborating with external vendors, agencies, and partners.

Analysis & Reporting:

  • Conduct ongoing analysis of marketing campaign performance, providing regular reports and actionable insights to senior management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies, recommending innovative approaches to enhance the gym's marketing efforts.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and maximising return on investment across all marketing initiatives.

The Person

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the fitness or wellness industry.
  • Strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, and Mailchimp, with a strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and content management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive messaging.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns that stand out in the fitness industry.
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and allocating resources efficiently.
  • Passion for fitness and a deep understanding of the fitness industry is highly desirable.
