We're on the hunt for an Account Director to join our rapidly expanding team. As a social agency, no day is the same. You've probably read 'fast-paced' a lot on these job boards, but we're about to say it again: it's a fast-paced environment, but that also means faster learnings, more experiences and quicker development. Responsibilities:

  1. Schedule, attend, and lead client meetings.
  2. Work closely with clients to develop their creative and social media vision.
  3. Analyse and report on campaign performance, making internal recommendations to grow client accounts.
  4. Lead on new business pitches and proposals alongside senior account management specialists.
  5. Track financial performance of your accounts and make recommendations on improving scope.
  6. Help establish new account management processes and procedures and present those to the team.
  7. Manage existing client accounts and build strong relationships with clients.
  8. Work to anticipate upcoming needs and hurdles and be proactive with your clients.
  9. Present agency work and presentations in a clear and engaging manner.
  10. Liaise with other departments including creative, strategy, and paid media specialists to support the delivery of client projects.
  11. Demonstrate good creative judgement and take responsibility for the highest standard of creative output.
  12. Prepare succinct creative briefs for other departments, and develop memos, briefs, and other documents at client request or supporting senior accounts specialists.
  13. Manage the budget and timings on your projects.
  14. Work proactively to prepare detailed scoping documents.
  15. Stay on top of your projects and manage regular campaign and client status updates.
  16. Manage your workload across multiple accounts and deadlines.
  17. Stay up to date with the marketing landscape, advertising strategy, and trends in social media and feel confident to share your opinions with the wider team and client.
  18. Offer advice and assist junior members of the team, and work with senior colleagues to develop your skills.
  19. Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior members of the team, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  1. 6 years + experience working in Client Leadership at a creative social media agency, most recently as an Account Director.
  2. Experience managing integrated advertising campaigns, with a particular focus on social media.
  3. Excellent client handling skills with a strong understanding of client requirements.
  4. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to executives within client organisations.
  5. An understanding of brand campaigns, strategic thinking, commercial advertising, and digital advertising platforms.
  6. Proven experience overseeing multiple projects across multiple clients.
  7. Project management skills and experience working on project management systems.
  8. Enthusiasm and professionalism.
  9. Proficiency in Google suite to produce client documents.
  10. Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills.
  11. A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
  12. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
