All queries must be directed to . This role leads commercial and business growth strategy in an early-stage technology business developing products and services for new and existing markets. The successful applicant will need to establish a clear external and internal commercial strategy for Qureight's value proposition to support revenue growth and overall business value inflection. Accountable for multiple aspects of commercial growth including: - Setting and delivering against revenue targets for the remainder of 2024, 2025, and 2026
- Increasing revenue from FY 2025 onwards and diversifying the client base
- Implementing accurate deal forecasting methodologies
- Working with finance function/CFO to:
- Align deal structures with revenue recognition and financial reporting
- Integrating future deal forecasting with financial forecasting (e.g. cashflow)
- Broadening therapeutic verticals for Qureight products and applications
- Establishing value-enhancing strategic relationships across the industry ecosystem, including access to strategically important datasets
Development of overall Qureight commercial strategy for future business plan and future Series B investment round. Developing multiple components of business function and infrastructure to support commercial activities: pre-sales, marketing, and post-sales. Work with Qureight C-suite to: - Develop and execute company goals, strategies, and business plans
- Provide management team support for successful delivery against plans and targets
- Guide the business through the next growth stage, develop and realise strategic vision
- Build value into the business via realisable intangible assets in addition to revenue (data, IP, know-how, trade secrets, expertise)
- Ensure alignment between commercial and R&D functions in the development of future products and services
- Support future investment and fundraising strategy
- Collaborate with the CFO to develop appropriate forecasting and product pricing.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and work with the Head of Business Development to develop a coherent sales plan
- Execute the commercial strategy and spearhead initiatives and programmes to increase penetration into existing partnerships, clients, and to drive new revenue/growth
- Take a strong lead in executing the strategic plan and personally drive key commercial initiatives, managing priorities, and being a team player in the delivery of projects within the timelines
- Negotiate, in close collaboration with the Head of Business Development, to close major commercial agreements to ensure that Qureight reaches its ambitious top line and profitability targets where defined.
- Represent the business externally to inform and educate the market around Qureight's proposition and success stories.
Experience and Skills: Commercial: - Proven track record in commercial achievement for new product offerings derived from innovative technologies entering new markets
- Proven success in establishing and growing commercial activities of early-stage technology businesses
- Developing business development growth strategies for new technologies and products
- Proven background in solution selling of technically complex products and services within a multi-stakeholder environment
- Proven background in service and technology licensing transactions across pharma and biotech
- Strong forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills
Industry: - In-depth understanding of the drug development process, especially within the respiratory disease sector
Corporate development: - Proven history of fundraising and existing network
- Awareness of corporate governance requirements and responsibilities
Operational: - Very strong communicator across written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of working within a regulated environment
- Team player able to establish a collaborative, open, and inclusive style of interaction with the wider team and C-Suite
- Coach and develop a team to deliver the targets
- Globally experienced

Qualifications / Education: Preferred: - 5 or more years' experience within senior strategy or C-level role
- Education to PhD level within a scientific discipline
- Complex sales training with recognised provider (e.g. Miller Heiman) preferred
