Key Account Director - FMCG Clients - Fluent French

In this role, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of a portfolio of 5+ regional key accounts within the FMCG sector with significant spend and/or growth opportunity in EMEA.
You will set the sales strategy and deliver on the commercial growth of those accounts, supported by a Client Success team to execute the retention strategy.
Reporting to the Vice President of Key Accounts, effective communication is a core element of this role, requiring collaboration and motivation of the core business team to ensure an optimum experience for clients and exceptional business growth.
Responsibilities
Deliver sales growth against targets with a strong focus on our consulting offering.
Position Mintel as a trusted advisor/strategic partner for your clients.
Network within the client organization to identify significant consulting opportunities.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new opportunities.
Work closely with Customer Success and other teams to ensure focus is driven by clients' needs and experience.
Prioritize actions for local Account Directors aligned with client and Mintel's regional goals.
Collaborate with the Customer Success team to create and ensure all relevant client collateral is accessible for all regional account teams.
Conduct regular strategic reviews with internal stakeholders to track progress against the strategic plan.
Support best practices in the portfolio and drive sales growth across all Mintel regions with global account managers.
Communicate with and support internal Mintel stakeholders across VOC initiatives.
Experience And Skills
Fluency in French.
Significant and proven experience managing, renewing, and upgrading accounts.
Strong experience in consultative selling and pitching for high-value project work.
Experience, knowledge, and passion for FMCG.
Proven track record of hitting sales targets in an account management role, with at least five years of experience.
Strong communicator, able to network effectively across an organization.
Can-do attitude with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
Able to multitask and prioritize effectively across multiple opportunities and individuals.
Able to strategize and be entrepreneurial, leading by example and developing a pipeline of opportunities.
