Description: POSITION OVERVIEW

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing and leading all commercial functions globally. Accountable for the Commercial vision, strategic plan and leadership to achieve Aman's goals and objectives across multiple LOBs (Hotel, Residential, Club, Yacht, Retail, F&B, Wellness). This includes leading the sales, marketing, communications, customer relationship management (CRM), brand strategy, digital initiatives, and revenue management teams. The CCO will develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and ensure a seamless customer experience across all touchpoints.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and market opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team across sales, marketing, communications, CRM, brand, digital, and revenue management departments.
  • Collaborate with the COO and other C-suite executives to set strategic goals and ensure alignment across all functions.
  • Responsible for establishing high-functioning commercial capabilities across property and corporate teams

Sales:

  • Drive revenue growth through the development and execution of sales strategies, including pricing, distribution, and market expansion.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.

Marketing and Brand Management:

  • Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and drive customer engagement.
  • Ensure consistency and effectiveness of the brand's messaging across all channels.
  • Develop strategies to increase customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty.

Digital and CRM:

  • Oversee the digital transformation initiatives, including website development, e-commerce, and online marketing strategies.
  • Oversee the CRM strategy to optimize customer interactions and ensure a personalized customer experience.
  • Work closely with IT, Finance and Operations to guide data strategy to enable actionable insights from enterprise through to property.

Revenue Management:

  • Oversee revenue management strategies, including pricing, inventory control, and demand forecasting.
  • Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure profitability and optimize resource allocation.
  • Implement systems and processes to monitor and improve revenue performance.

Communications:

  • Oversee internal and external communications strategies to effectively convey the company's vision and objectives.
  • Manage public relations efforts to enhance the company's reputation and stakeholder engagement.
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the company as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in a senior commercial leadership role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and enhancing brand visibility.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales, marketing, digital strategies, CRM, and revenue management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
