Technical Lead: Salesforce Marketing Cloud

We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical hybrid Lead with 5+ years of Marketing Cloud experience. The ideal candidate will have experience leading client interactions and building robust future-proof solutions.

1. Able to understand client business, challenges and utilise industry experience to form recommendations.
2. Takes ownership of functional design and build.
3. Takes responsibility for complex build items and delegates effectively.
4. Able to estimate and plan work.
5. Leads workshops/ playback/ training sessions.

1. Explain technical concepts to a technical and/or non-technical audience.
2. Take ownership of technical design & communicate them clearly and concisely.

1. Actively leads technical meetings and discussions.
2. Able to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written fashion.
3. Able to document design concepts quickly and accurately.
4. Able to present in an organised, coherent fashion.
5. Actively encourages collaborative discussions and ideas from others.
6. Takes ownership of tasks, reports progress accurately and raises issues when blocked.
7. Demonstrates ability to problem solve and consult others.
8. Takes end to end ownership of features.
9. Demonstrates high quality build and adhered to QA standards.

1. Approximately 8+ years technical experience.
2. 5+ years Marketing Cloud experience (and/or combined).
3. Experience across range of apps/ clouds (e.g. SFMC, Core SFDC, Data Cloud, Personalisation Studio).
4. Able to design and build solutions to meet complex client requirements.
5. Able to lead a technical team to successful delivery.
6. Confident in standard development areas, most of the following:
7. Extensive understanding of API Development (REST, SOAP).
8. Extensive experience in leading integration and technical workstreams.
9. Experience writing well-documented code in AMPScript or SSJS or other server side languages e.g. Node.js, Ruby, Python or PHP.
10. Experience with database management tools like SQL or .Net.
11. Experience in developing/ maintaining a website and/or app.
12. Experience in leading the complete life cycle of project development including Release Management Testing, and Deployment.
13. Understands and advocates best practice.
14. Experience in GitHub or similar.
